The Research Guides or Fact Trackers are a collection of reference books written to take the reader into further depth on topics in the fiction books of the Magic Tree House series. The first eight books were written by Mary Pope Osborne and Will Osborne. The rest were written by Mary and Natalie Pope Boyce. All illustrated by Sal Murdocca as well.

The books are separated by the series type, and in parentheses are the book number companions for books that skip around. They are also ordered by the main series's numbers.
