Trivia[]

  • This book is dedicated to Mary Pope Osborne's father, Colonel William P. Pope, who fought in World War II.
  • Unlike most of the books in the series since the Merlin Missions began, Jack and Annie do not perform magic of any kind and instead rely on their own skills such as Jack's ability to drive a truck.
  • When Danger in the Darkest Hour was first released it was in hardcover instead of paperback like the others. When retitled in 2017, it was released in paperback.
