The Caribbean is the name of a sea located between Central America and the Atlantic Ocean. It's known for its tropical weather and myriads of islands. These islands were first colonized by Spain in 1492, and most people there speak Spanish to this day. During the Age of Piracy from about 1690-1730, the Caribbean was a popular spot for pirates to loot merchant ships trading along the islands. Captain Kidd, who died in 1701, was believed to have buried his treasure on an island there. Jack and Annie visited the Caribbean around 1720 in Pirates Past Noon, where they reluctantly helped Captain Bones recover Kidd's treasure.
